Lottery call-in for concert tickets

A lottery call-in for tickets will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Wednesday to the Metropolis Quartet performance at 3 p.m. March 9 at the Robert R. Glenbards focus on health for a week

Glenbard West High School's Students for Students club has planned its Live Life Well Week through Saturday at the school, 670 Crescent Blvd., Glen Ellyn. Events include featured speaker Rick Metzger today, creation of Stand Your Ground banner Wednesday, suicide prevent Thursday, breakfast and Hoops for Hearts Friday, and the father/daughter dance Saturday. Glenbard South High School's week, Striving to be Great in 2008, through Friday features these events at the school, 23W200 Butterfield Road, Glen Ellyn. Donations of dental supplies may be dropped off for those in need through Friday at the school. District 41 schools to start registration

Glen Ellyn Elementary District 41 will hold kindergarten registration for children ages 5 or older by Sept. 1 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today through Friday and from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the central office, 793 N. Glen Ellyn Pantry holds meeting

Warrenville offers new programs

The Warrenville Park District is taking registration for these programs at the park district, 3S260 Warren Ave., Warrenville. Adult indoor golf lessons for ages 16 and older will meet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. beginning Feb. 26 with golf pro Dave Erickson of St. Andrews. The fee is $82 for residents, $87 for others.
