• The Naperville Area Humane Society's online auction runs through Feb. 29 at www.napervillehumanesociety.org. The fundraiser is part of the shelter's third annual Virtual Adopt-a-thon. Items up for bid include vacations and sports memorabilia, as well as original drawings and books autographed by Patrick McDonnell, creator of the Mutts comic strip and author of "Hug Time" and "Shelter Stories." • The Love Jazmine Project is collecting new, unwrapped toys through March 9 at Wheaton Massage Therapy, 406 S. County Farm Road, Wheaton, and Funway Entertainment Center, 1335 S. River St., Batavia. All toys collected will be donated to Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield and Delnor-Community Hospital in Geneva. Those who donate at Wheaton Massage Therapy will receive a free hot tub soak and a $5 discount on a massage. Those who donate at Funway also will receive a free admission with each donation.
