Lunch and seminar on hearing set

A free, educational, hearing help lunch and seminar will take place from 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Wednesday at the Warsaw Inn Buffet, 217 N. Route 31, McHenry.

Speaker Kevin St. Clergy, M.S., audiologist and educator will discuss current and upcoming advances in hearing instrument technology and answer questions regarding hearing health care.

The event will offer a drawing for a free Bose Radio. Special factory incentives for hearing instruments will also be available.

The lunch and learn seminar is sponsored by Professional Hearing & Audiology Clinics.

Georgio's raises funds for ACRC

Georgio's in Crystal Lake will host a fundraiser benefiting the Adult & Child Rehab Center from 5 to 11 p.m. Feb. 18. Georgio's is at 75 E. Woodstock St. in Crystal Lake.

Georgio's will donate 15 percent of its net proceeds from this night to the Rehab Center. Anyone interesting in helping by dining at Georgio's on Feb. 18 must bring a flier. The flier is available by contacting the Rehab Center at (815) 338-1707 or by logging onto the Web site www.adultchildrehab center.org.

The Adult & Child Rehab Center provides physical, occupational, speech and lymphedema therapies, as well as nursing care. The Rehab Center accepts most types of insurance.
