Fox Valley movers and shakers

With more than 20 years of financial experience, Batavia resident Stephen Clingen was named senior vice president, commercial banking, at MB Financial Bank in Chicago. Clingen previously served as senior vice president and division manager of Illinois commercial banking at LaSalle Bank. Prior to that, he was first vice president and division manager of commercial banking at Bank One. He holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Marquette University, Milwaukee, and a master's in business administration from DePaul University, Chicago.

Periodontist Michael Stablein of Lincolnshire was elected secretary of the Chicago Dental Society. Stablein, who practices in Chicago, received his dental degree and a doctorate degree in pathology, both from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry.

Susan Hagerty joined Donley's Old West Steakhouse and Village Hall Banquets in Union as business development manager. Hagerty has 14 years of corporate event planning and project consulting experience, having previously served with Arthur Andersen at the Center of Professional Education in St. Charles and in its corporate tax division in Los Angeles.

Country Insurance and Financial Services agents Marla Arnoff of West Chicago, Stephen Clark of Lombard, Sue DeAngelo of Warrenville, Lucas Fawkes of East Dundee, Candy Hanslik of Elgin, David Ireland of Bellwood, John Mulyk of Brookfield, Deb Stob of St. Charles, John Thorsen of Streamwood and Mike Zaur of Naperville have obtained the investment solutions representative designation and are now qualified to offer clients expanded financial planning and investment management services.

Professional Hearing and Audiology Clinics, Elgin, named Dave C. Colombo vice president of operations. Colombo, who has more than 20 years of experience in the manufacturing and hearing industries, previously worked as the Midwest territory sales manager for a hearing instrument manufacturer. He serves on the board of directors for the Illinois Hearing Society and speaks about the latest technological developments at community seminars and other events.
