New Beginnings: New Beginnings, a non-denominational social support organization for the separated, divorced, widowed and single, will hold the following activities:

Windy Brushes of Northern Illinois: Windy Brushes invites beginning and experience painters to its next meeting from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at the Poplar Creek Country Club, 1400 Poplar Creek Drive, Hoffman Estates. Northern Illinois Chapter of the Crochet Guild of America: The Northern Illinois Chapter of the Crochet Guild of America will meet from 1:30-4:40 p.m. Saturday at the Rolling Meadows Library, 3110 Martin Lane for its monthly meeting and annual yarn exchange. Women in Careers: Tammy Cook presents the "Law of Attraction" concept when Women in Careers meets 6 p.m. Monday at the Double Tree Hotel, National Parkway and Woodfield Drive, Schaumburg. Arlington Heights Branch American Association of University Women: The American Association of University Women, Arlington Heights Area Branch will meet 7 p.m. Monday at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, 500 N. Dunton, in the Hendrickson meeting room. The program will be presented by Sarah Moskowitz of the Citizens Utility Board. Bring your telephone bill and see where you can save money. Northwest Stamp Club: The Northwest Stamp Club meets from 7-10 p.m. various nights throughout the year at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, 500 N.
