New Beginnings: New Beginnings, a non-denominational social support organization for the separated, divorced, widowed and single, will hold the following activities:

• New Beginnings New Year's Eve party: 8 p.m. Monday; Poplar Creek Country Club, 1400 Poplar Creek Drive, Hoffman Estates. Dancing and socializing. Snacks will be served and food will be available for purchase. Midnight toast. Dress is semi-formal. Tickets $25 in advance; $35 at the door. Northwest Towns Sportsmen's Club: Northwest Towns Sportsmen's Club will hold its next meeting Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, Miner and Douglas streets, Arlington Heights. Fellow hunters, fishermen and shooter are welcome to attend. For information, call Don at (847) 494-5132. The club meets on the first Tuesday of each month, September through May.

The Arlington Camera Club: Dean Sawyer will present a program on wedding photography when the Arlington Camera Club meets 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Arlington Heights Historical Society, 110 W. Fremont St., Arlington Heights. On Jan. 16, the club will take a field trip to Kramer Photography to learn about lighting portraits.

Members of the Arlington Camera Club are exhibiting their photos at the Indian Trails Library, 355 S. Schoenbeck Road, Wheeling. The exhibit "Winter Scenes," will be displayed through Monday.

Movin' On: Movin' On, a nondenominational social group for widowed men and women in the northwest suburbs, will host the following events:

Northwest Stamp Club: The Northwest Stamp Club meets from 7-10 p.m. various nights throughout the year at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, 500 N.
