Pace representative to speak on options

If you are tired of waiting in line at spotlights and want to increase the mass transportation options, come to the Full Moon Theater's December meeting and discuss your frustrations with Kim Koy, Pace business development representative, who will examine transportation in McHenry County and what is being done about it.

Koy will speak at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Woodstock Public Library training room, 414 W. Judd St., Woodstock.

MCC offers career information session

McHenry County College University Center will hold a career information session from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today.

Careers to be featured are dental assistant, veterinary assistant and paralegal.

Those who are seeking a new career are welcome to attend this information session.

Learn about Health Services meds

A meeting will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday to discuss alternatives to the Cook County Bureau of Health Services' decision to discontinue filling prescription medications for McHenry County and collar county residents, which took effect Dec. 1.

Held at the McHenry County Administration Building, Conference Room B, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock, the goal of the meeting is to assure that all McHenry County residents have timely access to affordable prescription drugs to meet their healthcare needs.

Suzanne Hoban, Family Health Partnership Clinic, will present strategies for accessing medication.
