NAI Hiffman, Oakbrook Terrace, promoted Brian Colson to executive vice president and principal from senior vice president. An eight-year Hiffman veteran, Colson has represented property owners, tenants and buyers for the firm's industrial services group. He is actively involved with the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers and was awarded its Frank Mahoney Award for Excellence in 2004.
Carolyn Gerard, a principal of Gerard Design, Warrenville, was awarded the Entrepreneurial Excellence Award for Growth by The Business Ledger, a bi-monthly business newspaper serving DuPage and Northwest Cook counties and the Fox River Valley.
West Chicago-based J.A. Air Center promoted Scott Frank to vice president of sales. Frank, who joined J.A. Air Center in the mid 1980s, was instrumental in establishing and operating the company's fuel department. He advanced to a sales representative and increased sales in the company's aircraft sales division, J.A. Aero Inc. As vice president of sales, Frank will continue his efforts with J.A. Aero and assist J.A. Air Center in areas of operations and development.
Dr. Rachel E. Williams completed her certification examinations and is now a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Williams practices with Dr. Lance Lambert and Dr. M. Claire Garcia at Glen Ellyn Pediatric Dentistry PC in Glen Ellyn.
Dr. Anthony J. Vita and Dr. Peter Herout joined EPI-Q Inc., an Oak Brook-based consulting firm that provides outcomes research and health economics services to the global biopharmaceutical and health-care industries. Vita and Herout become responsible for providing clinical support and managing projects within their fields of clinical expertise.
David Burghard joined the retirement and individual products division of Fort Dearborn Life Insurance Co., Downers Grove, as national marketing director responsible for creating the division's marketing strategy as well as managing the internal sales team. Previously, Burghard served with Mesirow Financial. Additionally, Kevin Hallock joined the annuity team as senior marketing representative. Hallock, who served previously as director of administration at CJA and Associates, Chicago, replaces Tim Wozniak, who will move to an external position as a field marketing representative supporting Midwest distributors. Pam Jacobs, who previously worked on Fort Dearborn's annuity distribution,will take on the role of director of asset retention and continue to serve as liaison between Fort Dearborn and its distribution partners, supporting, managing and developing conservation programs.
