Buffalo Grove Garden Club: Today is the deadline to register for the Buffalo Grove Garden Club's Tuesday meeting, being held at the Alcott Center, 530 Bernard, Buffalo Grove. Joyce Grattoni from Harper College will guide members through making a boxwood tree to use during the holiday season. Fee of $20 will be charged for the program, reservations required. Wheeling Garden Club: The Wheeling Garden Club, in cooperation with Phillip Carpenter AmVets Post 66, invite all to attend a Blue Star Marker Dedication ceremony at 11 a.m. Sunday in Veterans Park, at the southeast corner of Milwaukee Avenue and Dundee Road, Wheeling. The ceremony honors the men and women who have served our country, past and present, in the Armed Forces. Refreshments will follow.
