Geneva cruises against DeKalb
Geneva's girls volleyball team had no trouble picking up their second Western Sun Conference win of the year with a 25-13, 25-19 victory against DeKalb.
Lauren Wicinski had 8 kills and Jenny Pokorny finished with 20 assists and 4 blocks.

Geneva 151, Yorkville 174: Jeff Paustian paced Geneva with a 1-over 36 at Mill Creek. Cole Oosthuizen added a 37 and Grant Douglas and John Hanson both shot 39.
Marmion 155, Montini 178: Robbie Whitehead shot a meet-low 37 and Tim Johnson added a 38 in the Cadets' victory at Willowcrest.
Aurora Christian 167, Walther Lutheran 192:ŒThe Eagles defeated the Broncos in a Private School League match at Phillips Park. Sean Wear took medalist honors for Aurora Christian with a 37.
Girls swimming
St. Charles East 161, West Chicago 81, Jacobs 73: The Saints took first place in 11 of 12 events. Caitlin Dauw won the 100 fly and the 200 freestyle. Lillian Cabel won the 200 IM and 100 backstroke.

West Aurora 182, Wheaton North 201: The Blackhawks bested the Flacons in the DuPage Valley Conference match at Orchard Valley. Madison Whitt earned medalist honors with a 41 and both Ellen Christensen and Karina Diaz finished at 47.
St. Charles East 170, Bartlett co-op 198: Rachael Edwards and Jenny Niemiec both shot 40s to lead the Saints to victory at Bartlett Hills.
