In an e-mail to the Waubonsie community, Principal Jim Schmid said the new policy is necessary because of the large attendance at home games. Middle and elementary school administrators have been made aware of the changes.

At a budget meeting in August, the board approved the partial payment of $26,000 out of a reduced $50,000 bill. The board also delayed approving a contract with Healy Bender and asked district administration to seek legal advice prior to their meeting.
