Basketball

3-on-3 tournament: Prospect High School Athletic Boosters are sponsoring their annual pre-season 3-on-3 basketball tournament Oct. 14 at Prospect High School, 801 W. Kensington Road, Mount Prospect. The tournament is open to boys and girls in fourth through 12th grade. Separate brackets are planned for each age group, except for high school juniors and seniors, who will be combined. Other grade levels may also be combined depending on registrations. Competition levels may be added based on registrations. Efforts will be made to coordinate playing times so participants in other fall programs may participate.

Basketball

Teams forming: Next Level Basketball Academy, located in the Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates area, is now forming fall and winter basketball teams for boys in fifth to 10th grade. Volleyball

Coaches wanted: Sky High Volleyball, a not-for-profit corporation, is searching for additional coaches with experience to train boys or girls teams. The boys teams are located in Libertyville, the girls teams are located in Crystal Lake, Libertyville and Hoffman Estates. Convenient schedules and some benefits are offered.
