October Meeting of the Des Plaines Art Guild and Park Ridge Art League

The Des Plaines Art Guild's general meeting will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Prairie Lakes Community Center, 515 E. Thacker in Des Plaines.

Stan Kotecki will be the featured speaker, giving a lecture on "Using Your I-Phone for Your Art... Tips and Ideas."

Kotecki, a professional photographer, has traveled the world on assignments for clients ranging from start-up entrepreneurs to Fortune 500 companies. His images have graced the covers of numerous trade publications and he has won prestigious graphic art awards.

The public is invited to attend. Refreshments will be served and there is no fee, but donations are appreciated.
