Anyone who speaks and reads in the Polish language is welcome to attend the free Polish Book Discussion which meets monthly at the Schaumburg Library, 130 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg. The group's upcoming meetings will take place from 7:30-9 p.m., Wednesdays, Oct. 11 and Nov. 8. There is no fee for attending, but registration is required and the featured book must be purchased. To register, call the Information Desk at (847) 923-3347 or sign up online at www.SchaumburgLibrary.org/events. Registration also takes place in person at the Information Desk on the library's second floor. The group's moderator will contact registrants to make arrangements for the purchase of books.
