How to File a Property Tax Appeal with The Board of Review

An upcoming seminar will be held by Board of Review Commissioner Dan Patlak and Palatine Township Assessor Terry Kelly.

Palatine Township residents can learn how you can file a property tax appeal and learn more about property tax exemptions and the appeal process at an upcoming seminar. Cook County Board of review from Commissioner Dan Patlak and Palatine Township Assessor Terry Kelly will be co-hosting the seminar on Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017.

For those wanting to file a property tax appeal, all of the necessary forms to file will be made available at this event.

Assessor Kelly will provide additional documentation on property tax exemptions and the appeal process.

Area residents are invited to bring questions along with their property tax bills and learn what can be done to potentially reduce property taxes.

The seminar will be held at the Holiday Inn, 3405 Algonquin Road, Rolling Meadows in the Algonquin Room beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017.
