The Bridge Church offer MEGA Camp June 26-30

The Bridge Church, a community partner with Eastview Elementary School, will be hosting its fourth annual MEGA Sports Camp June 26-30 for children who have completed kindergarten to fifth grade.

The Bridge has been active in the local Algonquin community for the past three years. The congregation often serves dinners at local schools, assists with fundraising events, mentors students, and shares resources with Eastview Elementary and Algonquin Middle School.

In 2014, The Bridge came to east Algonquin as a church plant out of Village Church of Barrington. It continues to grow and flourish as an autonomous church body.

It was MEGA Sports Camp that first brought the church to the attention of families in east Algonquin. Before church services were held in Algonquin Middle School, Sports Camp was offered that summer at Eastview Elementary. The camp draws new families each summer and continues to grow each successive year.

This year's camp offers children a choice of soccer, basketball, mixed martial arts, and cheerleading. Along with sports training, children also participate in upbeat rallies with singing, sports stories, and Bible stories with all training pointing kids to characteristics that lead to success in sports and life. The camp runs 9 a.m. to noon each day. The cost is $25 per child before June 9 and $35 per child after June 9, making this one of the most affordable summer.
