Link, Campanelli teams win 2017 Battle of the Books
Congratulations to the winners of the District 54's 2017 Battle of the Books competition! Students formed teams and read from a pre-selected list of titles, then answered questions about the books. The district finals were held on April 25.
The Link Elementary School team of Ava, Nethra and Sophia, sponsored by Stephanie Bebensee, won the first and second grade competition. The Campanelli Elementary School team of Scott, Anishka and Kelly, sponsored by Lindsay Sudol, won the third and fourth grade competition. The Campanelli Elementary School team of Brisa, Anisha and Maya, sponsored by Lynn Marinelli, won the fifth and sixth grade competition.
