Artwork by Pat Schular at Des Plaines Library in May

Since retiring from her career as an art teacher and later department chair at Leyden High Schools, District 212, Pat Schular began focusing on her own watercolor painting. Her artwork will be on display at the Des Plaines Public Library, 1501 Ellinwood Street, in the 3rd floor gallery area throughout the month of May.

Her paintings, mainly landscapes, have been exhibited in numerous invitational and juried art shows. Pat is a member of both the Des Plaines Art Guild and also the Park Ridge Art League, where she is currently active on the board.
