MacArthur hosts visitors for Career Day

On March 15 parents and community members came to MacArthur International Spanish Academy to speak with fifth and sixth grade students about their professions. Visitors included nurses, a video editor, a librarian, a police officer, and an electrician. The fifth and sixth grade team grouped students in such a way that they got the opportunity to meet, learn and ask questions about the careers in which they specifically expressed an interest.

"The 5-6 team really put a lot of time and thought into this event to provide students with a meaningful experience," said Principal Ivette Rivera-Weigle.
