MacArthur primary chess team takes second at championship
The primary chess team from MacArthur International Spanish Academy won second place in their division at the Quest Academy Championship held in Palatine last month. The team includes Ethan Shure, Lakshmi Jibi, Shiv Jibi, Wyatt Harvey and Dev Barad. Every team member scored enough points to help win the team trophy, which was presented to them by Grandmaster and former U.S. Chess Champion Yury Shulman.
