Senior Designers at Work!

The Seniors attending ESSE Adult Day Program will have the opportunity to design their own home! Seniors will each have a Floor Plan to decorate with paint, carpet and fabric samples. They also will have access to designer magazines for pictures of furniture, and accessories to display in their home. This project is a great sensory stimulation activity. A devoted volunteer, Georgiana Brown created a beautiful display board with fabric and paint samples she collected from various stores in the area. Seniors in program are physically or mentally handicapped. Some are suffering from Alzheimer's Disease. Day Care offers a safe nurturing environment enabling older adults to participate in cognitive and physical activities throughout the day while caregivers receive the much needed respite that is deserved. This is accomplished in our 3 facilities in Wheaton, Warrenville and Glen Ellyn. The Latin word ESSE means to be ! We encourage or clients to be all that they can be by providing opportunities for socialization and meaningful activities.
