Glenbard Parent Series to host wellness expo Nov. 17

The Glenbard Parent Series will host a wellness expo on Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the College of DuPage McAninch Arts Center in Glen Ellyn.

Join us from 6:15 to 7 p.m. as local health vendors showcase their services. The expo will include free health assessments, interactive demonstrations, giveaways, tastes of healthy food and more.

Following the expo, pediatrician and adolescent medicine specialist Dr. Kenneth Ginsburg will present The Skills to Succeed; Mastering the Tools to Thrive and Meet the Challenges of Today's Youth.

Ginsburg will share coping strategies for facing the stresses of academic performance, high achievement standards, media messages and family tension, as well as techniques to raise successful children who will be happy, healthy, hardworking and compassionate.

GPS is generously sponsored by the Cebrin Goodman Center, Cooperative Association for Special Education (CASE), College of DuPage, DuPage Medical Group, Emmy Gaffey Foundation and Trust Company of Illinois.
