CCU Announces Grand Opening of New Administrative Center
Waukegan, IL, June 25, 2015: Consumers Credit Union (CCU; $687 M, Waukegan, IL) hosted grand opening festivities for its new Administrative Center on Tuesday, June 23, 2015. The facility, located in the Tri-State Business Park in Gurnee, Illinois, is home to the Member-owned credit union's consumer lending, mortgages, card services, commercial/business lending, centralized sales, investment services, accounting, human resources, and technology departments, as well as CCU's senior management team.

"With our lending, sales, support and back office departments all in one location, we've created operating efficiencies that will help us better serve our Members today, while providing the capacity we need for future growth and expansion."
The credit union's Administrative Center has a modern, contemporary look that optimizes the environment for the staff. "We have more than 100 employees at the new facility, and they are all quite excited about their new workspace," continued Rathjen. "A big 'thank you' goes to the team responsible for transforming this vision into reality, including Kueny Architects and Boller Construction Company, consultants Josesph Bellisario and Frank Soyka, along with our internal team of Heather Lantz, Amy Lopez, Chris Visocnik and Gary Marconi."
The credit union's Open House included a ribbon cutting ceremony, led by Gurnee Mayor Kristina Kovarik, Sean Rathjen, Board Chairman John R. Janezic and CCU's all-volunteer Board of Directors. In attendance were members of the Gurnee and Lake County Chambers of Commerce, who were then offered tours of the building, providing an opportunity for CCU to showcase the amenities employees working at the new facility now enjoy.
