Jaycees host Halloween Kid's Fun Fest
The Elk Grove Village Jaycees will be hosting a Halloween Kid's Fun Fest on Thursday, October 30th from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Moretti's Ristorante & Pizzeria located at 1799 S. Busse Road in Mt. Prospect, IL 60056. Kids and their parents will enjoy pizza, games, crafts and costume contests. Cost is $10 and proceeds from the event will go toward helping local families in need this holiday season.
"We wanted to provide a fun and safe evening for kids to enjoy the Halloween spirit while raising funds for the less fortunate" said project chair Kasandra Pruyn. "Prizes will be awarded to the best costumes."
The Elk Grove Village Chapter of the Jaycees is one of over 1,000 local Chapters throughout the United States. The Jaycees provide individuals between the age of 21 and 40 the opportunity to network and develop personal and leadership skills while serving their community. Jaycee members take initiative to solve local challenges and are focused on sustainable impact, locally and globally. The Elk Grove Village chapter is always looking for new members interested in personal growth and community involvement.
The Elk Grove Jaycees meets at 7:30 PM on the second Wednesday of each month at Starbucks located at 102 Biesterfield Rd in Elk Grove Village.
