The Bordertown Bandits Girls softball is a local organization providing competitive competition for age groups starting at 10 and under through 18 and under.

The 12U has been extremely hard at work. May 24th they went 4-2 to capture the championship in the USSSA World Series Qualifier in Waconda. Lindsey Ciesla, right handed pitcher was awarded the win in the championship game.

On June 1 the 12U Bandits capture a second championship in the Grayslake Pride tournament. The team batting average was .452 with 5 girls exceeding .500. Lindsey Ciesla was awarded the win for the championship game. MVP's for the weekend were Laura Schwabe had 2, Abby Pyburn, Erin Pratt, Angelina Wittig, Lindsey Ciesla. Go to for more information.
