Bordertown Bandits 12U capture 2 Championships

The Bordertown Bandits Girls softball is a local organization providing competitive competition for age groups starting at 10 and under through 18 and under.

The 12U has been extremely hard at work. May 24th they went 4-2 to capture the championship in the USSSA World Series Qualifier in Waconda. Lindsey Ciesla, right handed pitcher was awarded the win in the championship game.

On June 1 the 12U Bandits capture a second championship in the Grayslake Pride tournament. The team batting average was .452 with 5 girls exceeding .500. Lindsey Ciesla was awarded the win for the championship game. MVP's for the weekend were Laura Schwabe had 2, Abby Pyburn, Erin Pratt, Angelina Wittig, Lindsey Ciesla.
