Arlington Heights Park District Gets Wet With New CrossFit Class At Recreation Park

Registration is now open for the innovative CrossFit + Swimming class offered by the Arlington Heights Park District and Elite Athletic Development | CrossFit Arlington Heights. CrossFit + Swimming is a 90-minute training session that combines swim intervals with land-based CrossFit movements. The class runs Monday, June 9 - Monday, July 21, 7:15 p.m. - 8:45 p.m., at Recreation Park, and costs $99. CrossFit + Swimming will challenge athletes from first-time to IronMan triathletes, high school to master's swimmers, Soccer Moms to Navy Seals, and everyone in between ... as long as they are ready to accept a new training challenge. The class is led by Jim Inman, NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, USAT Triathlon Coach, USAC Cycling Coach, CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, and owner / head performance coach at Elite Athletic Development | CrossFit Arlington Heights.Previous CrossFit experience is not necessary, but participants should be comfortable in a lap swim situation.
