12 men to be ordained Saturday at Holy Name Cathedral
Cardinal Francis George will ordain 12 priests at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago.
The men, ranging in age from 25 to 44, include five from the Chicago area, one from Nevada, three from Mexico and three from Poland.
Two of the people being ordained are from the suburbs:
• Connor Coyle Danstrom, 29, born in Wheaton, who will be doing postgraduate studies at the Pontifical Faculty of Theology at Mundelein while working weekends at St. Benedict Parish in Blue Island and St. Peter Claver Mission in Robbins. His first Mass is 10:30 Sunday, May 18, at Sacred Heart Parish in Winnetka.
• Derek Ho, 31, born in Buffalo Grove, also will be doing postgraduate studies in Mundelein while working weekends at St. Celestine Parish in Elmwood Park. His first Mass is 11:30 a.m. Sunday, May 18, at St. Edna Parish in Arlington Heights.
Four are being assigned to churches in the suburbs:
• Dan Ignatius Folwaczny, 28, from Chicago, to St. Norbert Parish, Northbrook.
• Matthew Jamesson, 29, from Carson City, Nevada, who will be doing postgraduate studies in Mundelein and working weekends at St. Theresa Parish in Palatine.
• Grzegorz Lorens, 32, born in Skarzysko-Kamienna, Poland, who will be at St. John the Evangelist Parish in Streamwood.
• James Andrew Mueller, 28, from Arlington Heights, who will be doing postgraduate studies in Mundelein and working weekends at Most Blessed Trinity Parish in Waukegan.
Others being ordained are:
Juan Luis Andrade-Limon, 32, from Mexico; Isaac Lara, 28, born in Tlaxcala, Mexico; Francisco Javier Luna Silguero, 44, born in Monterrey in Mexico; Marek Maciej Smolka, 29, born in Zakopane, Poland; Michael Wyrzykowski, 35, born in Szczecin, Poland; and Bradley Angelo Zamora, 25, from Chicago.w
