Blue Whiskey screens 'North by Northwest' in Arlington Hts.

Join the Blue Whiskey Cinema series on the first Wednesday of every month at the Star Cinema Grill in Arlington Heights, 53 S. Evergreen Ave. On Wednesday, May 7, at 7:30 p.m., the series will present an exclusive screening of the Alfred Hitchcock classic, "North by Northwest."

The 1959 Oscar-nominated film tells the story of a suave, successful New York advertising executive who finds himself, through a case of mistaken identity, embroiled in a web of intrigue and murder that takes him across the country to prove his innocence to the police and get an evil crime syndicate, looking for a lost microfilm, off his tail. Starring Cary Grant, Eva Marie Saint, James Mason, Jessie Royce Landis and Martin Landau.

Before the film, local production company CNGM Pictures will be presenting a sneak peek at its new original series, "Brightside."

Tickets for this event are $5 online in advance and $8 at the door.
