Lakeside Legacy Arts Park presents "Let's Dance Big Band" June 13

On Saturday, June 13, Let's Dance Big Band will perform in at 8 p.m. the Listening Room at the Lakeside Legacy Arts Park in Crystal Lake. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. To reserve your tickets today, visit or call (815) 455-8000.

They perform classic songs made famous by big bands, such as: Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman, as well as more modern jazz pop favorites, Louis Armstrong, Nat King Cole, and Frank Sinatra.

Let's Dance Big Band, a 20-piece swing band, was formed in 2010 with a nucleus of players from Sun City in Huntley, Illinois. The band plays for dances, neighborhood festivals, and holiday parties. You'll love tapping your feet to the band's tunes. Roger Reupert, house manager of the Listening Room, describes Let's Dance Big Band as, "A really fun and optimistic group that you cannot help but be happy around when listening to their talented performances."

Tickets are $15 in advance and can be purchased at or by contacting the Box Office and asking for Roger (815) 455-8000. If online sales have not sold out, tickets can also be purchased at the door for $20. Lakeside encourages people to purchase tickets in advance.
