Lakeside Legacy Arts Park presents singer Kim Shriver May 10

On Saturday, May 10, Kim Shriver will be performing at 8 p.m. in the Listening Room at the Lakeside Legacy Arts Park in Crystal Lake. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. To reserve your tickets today, visit www.LakesideLegacy.org or call (815) 455-8000.

"We are bringing Broadway to Crystal Lake," exclaimed Siobhan Cottone, Lakeside's Executive Director. "Kim Shriver is known for her musical talents and her involvement in Broadway. This concert is an amazing opportunity to see high caliber talent in your own backyard."

Kim Shriver is a professional actor, singer, and dancer who has performed in many shows throughout the U.S., Canada, Tokyo, and Europe. In 2007 she appeared as Sheila in the revival of "A Chorus Line" on Broadway. She has also toured in shows such as the "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" as well as "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat". For one holiday season she was a Radio City Rockette. Some of her favorite roles include Sheila in "A Chorus Line", Velma in "Chicago", Charity in Sweet Charity and Muriel in "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels". She had the opportunity to work with many stars, including Hugh Jackman, Meryl Streep, Shirley Jones, and Pat Boone. Kim is grateful for all the amazing experiences she has had in the theater and is looking forward to many more. This summer she will be performing in "Suds," the rocking 1960s musical soap opera at the Raue Theatre in Crystal Lake.

Tickets are $15 in advance and can be purchased at www.LakesideLegacy.org or by contacting the Box Office and asking for Roger (815) 455-8000. If online sales have not sold out, tickets can also be purchased at the door for $20. Lakeside encourages people to purchase tickets in advance. If you purchase tickets at the door on May 10, however, please arrive by 7:30 p.m. A cash bar is also available during the concert. The Listening Room is located within Lakeside Legacy Arts Park at 401 Country Club Road, Crystal Lake. Lakeside Legacy is a 501(c)3 charitable organization, and is also home to the Historic Dole Mansion.
