Dundee-Crown choral group performs at Lions Christmas party

Under the direction of Lisa Bettcher the Dundee Crown Choral Group entertained the Dundee Lions at their annual Christmas party with a number of holiday medleys.

Many of the Lions commented the music was truly inspirational. It not only put you in the Christmas spirit it also showed what talented youth we have in our schools. Gene Tester, the Lions President noted its a reminder that the vast majority of our youth are “great” kids.

Tester indicated this event is a well deserved, but brief respite for the members as this is one of the busiest months for the organization. Members are selling Christmas trees to raise money to donate to charity. In addition they just completed the Ron Rhoades Festival of Tree for Dickens in Dundee, and will be running the Annual Lions Middle School Basketball Tournament, as well as providing breakfast for Shop with a Cop.

The Dundee Township Lions are always looking for members to be a part of one of the worlds largest service organizations. If you are the type of person who wants to make a difference in your community and have fun while doing it call Gene Tester at 847-807-2332.
