Dist. 214 info night for student athletes
District 214 college counselors are hosting this year’s NCAA information night, “Advising the College-Bound Student Athlete,” at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12 in the Forest View Educational Center Theater, 2121 S. Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights. All student athletes and their parents are invited to hear Maureen Harty, associate athletic director for academic services and compliance at Northwestern University. Topics are athletic opportunities, eligibility requirements, setting priorities, evaluating your opportunities and marketing your talents.
