Quinn, Simon headline Dem event in Schaumburg
Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn, Lt. Gov. Sheila Simon and Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle will be among the guests at the Schaumburg Area Democrats’ Meet the Candidates Breakfast from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13 at Chandler’s Chop House and Grill, 401 N. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.
Other noteworthy guests will include state senator and candidate for Illinois treasurer Michael Ferrichs, state Sen. Dan Kotowski, state Sen. Michael Noland and state Rep. Michelle Mussman. Simon is a 2014 candidate for Illinois comptroller.
Tickets for the event can be purchased at the door for $45 each or $40 each when buying multiple tickets. They may also be purchased in advance by calling the Schaumburg Area Democrats at (847) 278-7266.
