Help Fox Valley Rep build a yellow brick road to pave the way for the youth of FVR's Performing Arts Academy

Fox Valley Repertory Performing Arts Academy is proud to announce their Youth Ensemble summer musical, "The Wizard of Oz", scheduled to perform at the Pheasant Run Mainstage (4051 East Main St. St. Charles, IL 60174) on July 20, 2013 through July 28, 2013. However, putting on a production such as "The Wizard of Oz" is no easy feat financially for the Academy. That is why starting this month, up until the last performance of the show, FVR Performing Arts Academy is selling and featuring yellow bricks for families, patrons, and local businesses to wish good luck to the cast members or to advertise a business' products and services.

The yellow bricks will be displayed in the Pheasant Run Mainstage Lobby and it is the Academy's hope that they can build a full yellow brick road to Oz! Bricks will be sold at $5 each and all proceeds will go towards offsetting the cost of producing the show, such as professional directors, designers, choreographers, set designs, scripts, and sheet music. Bricks can be purchased through any of the cast members of "The Wizard of Oz" and the Pheasant Run Resort Box Office, as well as at local retailers, Sensible Threadz and Biggby Coffee in St. Charles.

The Youth Ensemble is an audition only program that allows students to learn and grow from several performance opportunities each year. "Wizard of Oz" marks FVR's 21st Youth Ensemble production and features cast members ranging from ages 5 -17 years of age from the Fox Valley area.
