Kincaid had been fighting health issues for some time but was still working until a week or two ago, she said.

"He was just a great kid-connector. He brought out the best in kids," Burlinski said. "He was a wonderful educator, a wonderful man. We're really going to miss him dearly."

Kincaid was married and had two sons.

A Facebook page remembering Kincaid had more than 3,500 likes on Thursday.

Visitation for Kincaid will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, at Salerno's Funeral Home, 450 W. Lake St., Roselle.
