School bus struck in Schaumburg

There were no injuries caused by another vehicle striking the back of a school bus transporting students at Campanelli Elementary School at 310 S. Springinsguth Road in Schaumburg Friday afternoon, police said. Only a handful of students were on the bus at the time. Schaumburg police Sgt. John Nebl said the collision was under investigation by officers for the possibility of a traffic citation being issued. The families of the students on the bus had been promptly notified, he said.
