Palatine Park District pool passes entitle pass holders to use all three of the park district's aquatic facilities: Eagle Pool, Birchwood Pool and the Family Aquatic Center. Birchwood and Eagle Pools are open, weather permitting, from June 8 through September 2, and the Family Aquatic Center is open from May 25 through August 11. A variety of special pool options are offered at varying times including float nights, adult swim times, and open kayaking. For a complete schedule of pool hours and events, visit www.palatineparks.org.

Eagle Pool was originally built in 1976, and was remodeled in 2012. The new design offers an enlarged zero depth tot pool with alligator slide and bubbles. The main pool has one 3-meter diving board and two 1-meter diving boards along with a mid-size slide. A newly designed ADA bathhouse, admissions breezeway, offices, redesigned concession area, and new landscaping were also added with the remodel. Eagle Pool has a bather load of 428 and is located at 1425 North Oak Street, Palatine.

Birchwood Pool was renovated in 2007. This 1,000 bather aquatic facility includes an eight lane 50-meter competitive pool, a 25-yard lap pool, a 1,000 square foot tot pool with zero depth entry and a shark slide, a splash pad spray pool with geysers, dumping buckets, spray hoops and a water mushroom. Birchwood also boasts a separate diving well with a drop slide, 3-meter diving platform and a 1-meter diving board. Birchwood Pool is located at 435 W. Illinois Avenue, Palatine.

Family Aquatic Center opened in 1999. The 1,300 capacity water park includes two 180 foot slides, two tot slides, a water fall and cave-like area, a sand play area, a 6-lane lap pool, water play bubblers and sprayers, a large lawn area, three rentable picnic areas and a concession stand. Family Aquatic Center is located at 340 E. Palatine Road, Palatine.
