District 214 will present its 11th annual Art Expo, 3-6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, in the cafeteria of Forest View Educational Center, 2121 S. Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights. A collaborative effort between art departments in the District 214 high schools and participating sender middle schools, the Expo will exhibit two and three-dimensional work of outstanding local student artists. Middle schools are Cooper, Lincoln, Thomas, River Trails and South; junior highs include Friendship and Grove. The Expo will also have live demonstrations by District 214 students and musical entertainment by Buffalo Grove High School students. For information, Jeremy Morton, (847) 718-5365.
