Dist. 220 board seeking new member

As expected, Barrington Unit District 220 Board Member Nick Sauer resigned his post Tuesday, a week after his election to the District 17 seat on the Lake County Board.
The District 220 board is now seeking candidates for appointment to Sauer's vacated position from Dec. 18 through next spring, when it along with three more of the seven seats on the board are up for election. Applicants should visit barrington220.org/BoEapplication to find the details and to complete and submit an online form expressing their qualifications and interest.

Printed copies of the application are also available at the Administrative Center at 310 E. James St. in Barrington, each District 220 school and the Barrington Area Library.
