Santa’s Flight to Schaumburg Dec. 2

The annual Santa's Flight to Schaumburg will occur from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, at Schaumburg Regional Airport, 905 W. Irving Park Road. Participants will wait for Santa's arrival by helicopter in the hangar and enjoy a buffet breakfast provided by Pilot Pete's. The event, sponsored by Northwest Flyers, is for all ages. Children ages 3 to 12 are $10. Participants ages 13 and older are $20. Children ages 2 and under are free if sitting in an adult's lap. Children must be accompanied by an adult. All attending family members must register. Early registration is encouraged as the event will sell out. Preregistration ends Nov. 30. Participants are encouraged to dress warmly.
