Oakton inks deal with Robert Morris University

Oakton Community College in Des Plaines and Robert Morris University have signed an agreement to ensure that credits earned by students at Oakton will transfer to the four-year college.

Students who complete an associate degree at Oakton and transfer to Robert Morris will enter as juniors and may be able to complete a bachelor’s degree in less than two additional years. Transfer students with an associate degree working toward a bachelor’s degree at Robert Morris are guaranteed to never pay for more that two years of college.

Robert Morris University also has a limited number of scholarships available for Oakton’s 2012 graduates. Interested students should call (800) 762-5860 to apply for the fall quarter, which begins Sept. 24.

Robert Morris University serves more than 7,000 students at its main campus in Chicago and suburban locations including Arlington Heights, DuPage County, Elgin, Orland Park, Bensenville, Schaumburg and Lake County.
