Bring the kids out for Noonie Times in Schaumburg

Noonie Times, one of Schaumburg Park District’s most popular summer attractions, kicks off its season with juggler Jason Kollum Wednesday, June 20, at the Community Recreation Center outdoor theater, 505 N. Springinsguth Road, Schaumburg.

This free children’s entertainment series will take place from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesdays, June 20 to July 25; there is no concert July 4.

Scheduled performers include June 20: Jason Kollum, a juggler; June 27: Mr. Singer and the Sharp Cookies, Chicago’s favorite family band; July 4: No concert; July 11: Super Stolie and the Rockstars, an interactive rock show for kids; July 18: Cold Blooded Creatures, a close-up look at reptiles presented by Jim Nesci; and July 25: Little Miss Ann, upbeat folk rock for kids.

Entertainment is subject to change.

In case of inclement weather, entertainment will be moved inside the Community Recreation Center.

Participants should bring a picnic blanket and lunch. Food also will be available for an additional fee. Groups and camps are welcome.
