All scholarship checks will be forwarded directly to the program agency or the camp. Should a recipient not attend the camp/program for which a scholarship was awarded, it is the responsibility of the recipient's family to reimburse STC.
Students may apply for as many scholarships as they choose. Each session of a camp/program must have a separate application. No household will be awarded more than one scholarship. Any one student may be awarded a scholarship for only two consecutive years.
The camp or program must start on or after June 1, 2012, and be done by Sept. 1, 2012.
To comply with the bylaws of PTA, to be "noncommercial, nonsectarian and nonpartisan," a camp with the purpose of religious instruction will be ineligible for a scholarship.
Please return a completed application in a sealed envelope to the school office. The deadline for submitting an application is designated by the elementary scholarship coordinator for your school's PTA/PTSA. All candidates will be notified of committee decisions shortly after May 1.
Scholarship recipients are encouraged to notify STC describing the benefits of having attended the camp/program for which the scholarship is received.
