Group picked to provide job search help in North suburbs

National Able Network, one of Chicago’s largest nonprofit employment and training agencies, has been selected by the Workforce Board of Northern Cook County and Cook County Works to provide workforce services to residents of North Cook County in Illinois. National Able Network will provide vital employment services at three locations in North Suburban Cook County, including the Evanston Public Library, Oakton Community College in Des Plaines and the Center for Professional Development at Westfield Old Orchard in Skokie. The unemployment rate in North Suburban Cook County was 7.8 percent in October, with 44,000 individuals out of work.
