Trivia fundraiser to benefit Dist. 301

The Central Education Foundation of Central Unit District 301 has planned the “Trivia Schmivia” fundraiser to be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at the Grand Victoria Casino in downtown Elgin.

Trivia teams of eight, prepare to don your thinking caps to answer a variety of questions related to history, sports, music, geography, TV and movie topics.

Beer, wine and snacks are included. Adding to the night's festivities will be prizes for best table decoration and first-place winners. The registration fee is $45 per person. There will be four rounds of 20 questions.
