Boys soccer/Fox Valley roundup

Jose Hernandez scored 5 goals and Ismael Morales had 4 as Hampshire’s boys soccer team rolled to a 13-1 Fox Valley Conference Fox Division win over Crystal Lake Central Wednesday.

Andrew Obmalay added 2 goals for the Whip-Purs (6-7, 2-0), while Bryan Contreras had 5 saves in goal and Andy Pederson stopped 7 shots.

Harvard 2, Burlington Central 1: The Rockets fell for the first time in Big Northern East play. Chris Gousios had Burlington Central’s lone goal, while Riley Jensen made 10 saves in the net for the Rockets (8-4-4, 4-1-1).
