A true friend and partner in Dist. 42

I am no longer willing to sit silently and tolerate what I believe to be either bad decisions being made or lack of willingness by elected officials to address the really tough issues. From now on I will publicly acknowledge those who have shown great leadership and have worked hard to represent the interests of the people they serve.

I am very happy to say that State Representative Sandy Pihos of the 42nd House District has consistently done just that. My family has had the opportunity over the past several years to ask for her assistance on several matters.

She has always willingly taken time out of her busy schedule to either meet with us in person to discuss the issue, or in many cases going above and beyond what is expected by returning our call in the evening or weekends during her personal time. She never seems to mind our repeated requests for assistance and we have always been extremely impressed with her commitment to her job. We are extremely grateful for her help in solving problems that others could not.

We have also witnessed her caring and concern for the disabled citizens of our community. She repeatedly went to bat to assist various social service agencies secure funding from Springfield so that they could keep their doors open to continue to serve the clients who desperately need their help. She is a true friend and partner for all District 42 residents.

The votes we cast Tuesday will speak volumes in determining the path the state takes in the next few years. I hope that you will support Sandy and help return her to Springfield. She has the exact qualities and skill set we need to represent our interests.
