Why won't Walker say he's a Democrat?

Why is it that our state representative will not identify himself as a Democrat?

Mark Walker is the Democrat candidate for state representative. But the word Democrat is not on any of his campaign literature. It is not on his yard signs. It is not even on his website.

Could it be that he is embarrassed by the disastrous policies of the Democrats? The state of Illinois has been completely controlled by the Democrats for the last eight years and their fiscal mismanagement has left our state broke. Illinois is at the bottom of the barrel among all states.

Unfortunately Mr. Walker has voted with his fellow Democrats in passing a budget that is $13 billion in deficit and approving $3.9 billion in new debt.

So as the old saying goes, you have to “dance with the one that brung ya. Since he is the Democrat candidate, votes with the Democrats, his mail pieces are paid for by the Democrat Party of Illinois, then he ought to be honest in telling people that he is indeed a Democrat.
