Power restored to 1,500 in Algonquin Twp., Barrington

About 1,500 ComEd customers across Barrington and Algonquin Township lost power for more than an hour Wednesday evening.

Officials from ComEd said the outage was due to a "feeder lockout."

Power was restored about 8 p.m. Crews do not know the cause of the lockout but said it was not due to downed power lines.
