Retiring art teacher helps Medinah students feel 'proud of what they create'

After 37 years teaching art in Medinah Elementary School District 11, Robin Russell is stepping down at the end of the school year. But she's not retiring quietly, keeping busy putting together a district calendar that showcases student artwork. "It was always part of my vision to make sure everyone feels proud of what they create," she said.
